Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster: Our Family Villa Review

Location: Lancaster, PA

After nine days of sharing hotel rooms on our road trip, our family of five was ready for some space. Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster gave us exactly that. We stayed in a villa that felt more like a home than a hotel room, with separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a patio overlooking the pool.

Our Villa at Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster

The kids had their own bedroom with two queen beds, while James and I had a separate room with a king-size bed. Each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom, which made mornings much easier for our family of five.

Downstairs, we had a full kitchen with a washer and dryer, a dining table, and a living room with a television and gas fireplace. The patio looked out over the pool. After so many nights in one hotel room, having space to spread out and give everyone a little privacy felt wonderful.

The kitchen was genuinely useful, too. We made pasta one night instead of going out, which saved money and gave us a relaxed evening together. Later, we had a movie night by the fireplace. Those simple moments made the villa feel like our own place for a little while.

Pools and poolside dining

Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster has three pools to choose from: two outdoors and one indoor. The indoor pool also has a hot tub, so there is somewhere to swim and relax even when the weather does not cooperate.

We especially loved the poolside dining and drinks. It made it easy to linger by the water instead of interrupting the fun to find a restaurant. Harry was thrilled that he could fulfill his strawberry daiquiri obsession!

Dining at the resort

There are several dining options on the property, including Bistro 2two2, Encore Lounge, poolside dining, and Arthurโ€™s Terrace Restaurant. We had the breakfast buffet at Arthurโ€™s Terrace, and it was huge.

Between the restaurants, pools, and space to relax in the villa, you could honestly spend a whole day at Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster without leaving the property. We wanted to explore Lancaster, but it was lovely to have a place where downtime felt like part of the vacation.

A good choice for family reunions

One thing that makes Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster especially appealing for families traveling together is the range of accommodations. The property has standard hotel rooms, suites, and large villas, so different households can choose the space that works for them while staying at the same resort.

I could see this being a great spot for a family reunion. Everyone could gather by the pools or meet for a meal, then head back to their own rooms or villas at the end of the day.

Would we stay again?

Absolutely. For our family of five, the villa made all the difference. The separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry gave us room to breathe after a long stretch of sharing hotel rooms. Add in three pools and the convenience of dining on-site, and Eden Resort and Suites in Lancaster is an easy recommendation for families who want their hotel stay to feel like part of the trip.
