The inn sits right in the center of Woodstock, VT, just steps from a covered bridge, a charming Main Street, as well as locally owned shops and cafés. The location couldn’t be better. You can park your car and explore the entire village on foot.

We visited during winter, which is an especially magical time to experience Woodstock Inn Vermont. Snow dusted the rooftops, wreaths adorned the doors, and the entire village felt festive and cozy.

After our afternoon exploring, we returned to the inn and settled at the Red Rooster bar for a glass of wine and a beautifully prepared cheese board. It was the perfect way to unwind.

For dinner, we moved into Richardson’s Tavern, also located inside Woodstock Inn Vermont. The dim lighting, crackling fire, and warm wood interiors created a cozy atmosphere that feels especially inviting in winter.

The next morning, we had breakfast back at the Red Rooster. We enjoyed a generous buffet with plenty of options. It was a delicious start to the day.
