All three of my children are always drawing and doodling. Wherever we are, it is the best activity to keep them busy. I have finally discovered the perfect travel activity pack for on the go. We don’t leave home without these. They are perfect for long car rides, plane rides or just to have on hand for whenever boredom strikes.
The pouch itself is called the Get Creative Zipper Pouch. It is made by Thirty-one and can be purchased online. My friend is a consultant, so I linked to her page. She is super helpful if you have questions.
They come in a variety of colors and patterns. Next you can personalize the pouches with a monogram or choose a design to decorate with. The patterns and designs change seasonally so they are always coming out with fresh prints.
My kids each personalized their own activity pack. They had fun choosing their color, monogram and design. This makes it really easy to tell them all apart, so there is no fighting about who’s is who’s.
The front of the pouch holds colored pencils or markers. My kids only wanted blank paper to draw on, so I found a pack of notepads on Amazon and they fit perfectly.
The middle of the pouch has a clear zipper pocket that is great for holding stickers or other small items. We filled ours with mini scratch art pads and mini play packs of wikki stix.
The Target dollar stop is usually the best place to find things to stuff a busy bag with. I always grab some options when I am there and keep them in a basket in our coat closet. When we are going on a long trip or somewhere there will be a lot of waiting, they get to pick something out of the basket to keep them busy.
The best part of the kids activity pack is that they zip shut so everything is held securely inside. There is even a hidden pocket on the front flap that would fit a play pack or small coloring book.
This travel activity pack has been a life saver. We seriously don’t leave home without them. Do you use busy bags for your kids? What do you pack inside to keep them busy?
