Top 10 Experiences at Santa’s Village NH

1. Attend Elf University

Start your day at Elf University as soon as you enter Santa’s Village NH. Kids receive an “elfabet” stamp card and can search the park for 26 different elves, each holding a letter stamp.

It turns into a fun scavenger hunt that keeps kids engaged all day. Before leaving, they can trade in their card for a diploma and a small prize. While you don’t need every letter, my kids were determined to find them all.

2. Visit with Santa

No trip to Santa’s Village NH is complete without visiting Santa Claus in his home. Kids can share their wish lists and take photos with Santa.

One thing I really appreciate is that you can take your own photos in addition to purchasing the professional ones, which is not always the case at other attractions.

3. Feed Santa’s Reindeer

At the Reindeer Rendezvous, you can purchase a cup of carrots and feed Santa’s reindeer. Seeing Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen up close is always a highlight for kids.

4. Ride the Skyway Sleigh

This is my personal favorite ride at Santa’s Village NH. The Skyway Sleigh takes you on a peaceful monorail ride above the park, offering beautiful views of the trees and attractions below.

At the end, you can purchase a photo. We love turning ours into a Christmas ornament each year.

5. Decorate gingerbread cookies

Head to the Sugar n’ Spice Bake Shop where kids can decorate their own gingerbread cookies. With colorful icing and plenty of creativity, this is always a fun and delicious break from the rides.

6. Ride the Yule Log Flume

This classic log flume ride is one of the more thrilling attractions at Santa’s Village NH. After a scenic ride through the Yule forest, you’ll splash down at the end.

Be prepared to get wet, and note that kids must be at least 48 inches tall to ride.

7. Have a good luck ring made

At the Reindeer Shoe Blacksmith Shop, a blacksmith will create a custom ring for your child using a reindeer shoe. These rings are free and meant to bring good luck.

It is such a unique keepsake and one of those small touches that makes Santa’s Village NH so special.

8. Drive an antique car

Kids love getting behind the wheel of their own antique car. They can drive through a track that includes a splash zone and even a bubble car wash. It is simple but so much fun.

9. Climb aboard Santa’s Express Train

This gentle train ride loops around Santa’s Village NH and is a great way to see the layout of the park. It is especially helpful early in the day to get your bearings.

My kids always love passing through the covered bridges.

10. The Great Humbug Adventure

tep inside Scrooge’s newly renovated home for this interactive ride. Families sit together and use a “giggle gadget” to zap humbugs and score points.

It may look a little spooky from the outside, but it is not scary. Even my youngest, who scares easily, loved it.

Santa’s Village NH Water Park

If you are visiting Santa’s Village NH during the warmer months, don’t miss Ho Ho H2O, the park’s water play area. It is included with admission and is a favorite for many families.

Keep in mind the water is not heated, so it only opens when temperatures reach at least 65 degrees. On hot summer days, this is the perfect place to cool off, so pack swimsuits just in case.

How to Buy Tickets to Santa’s Village NH

Tickets for Santa’s Village NH can be purchased online in advance, which is highly recommended during peak summer and fall weekends. Planning ahead will help you avoid long lines and ensure availability.
