Hyatt Place Boston Seaport District: Hotel Review
On a recent trip to Boston, we stayed at the Hyatt Place Boston Seaport District and were so impressed with both the property and the staff. Located just a short 10-minute walk from all the Seaport attractions, this hotel offered the perfect home base for exploring one of our favorite neighborhoods in the city.

Hyatt Place Boston Seaport District
The location is hard to beatโdirectly across from the Leader Bank Pavilion, making it ideal if youโre in town for a concert. Itโs also incredibly convenient for travelers, sitting just 3 miles from Logan Airport.
The hotel feels brand new, with a sleek, modern design and a vibrant atmosphere in the lobby that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Thereโs plenty of comfortable seating, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done.
One of the biggest perksโespecially for familiesโwas the free buffet breakfast served daily. There were plenty of options to please everyone, from eggs and sausage to fruit and pastries. It made getting out the door with kids that much easier (and more affordable).
Spacious Rooms Designed for Comfort
Our room was bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed with families in mind. We had two queen beds and a separate sitting area with a sofa, which gave us just the extra space we needed. The beds were comfortable with crisp linens, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax.
We also appreciated the large windows that let in tons of natural light. We loved watching the planes landing at Logan Airport right from our window. We also had a mini fridge, coffee maker, and ample storage spaceโsmall details that make a big difference when traveling with kids. The bathroom was spotless with a bathtub and plenty of fluffy towels.

Booked on Points โ An Incredible Value
One of the best parts of our stay? I booked the room using World of Hyatt points. As a Discoverist member, I was able to snag a night for just 17,000 pointsโa fantastic value for a property in such a prime location. Being able to use points made the stay feel even more worth it, especially with the added perks like free breakfast and affordable parking options.

Pet-Friendly
For those traveling with pets, youโll be happy to know the Hyatt Place Boston Seaport District is pet-friendly. They allow up to two dogs per room for a $75 fee, making it a great option if youโre exploring Boston with your furry family members.
Parking Options That Fit Every Budget
Boston parking can be a headache, but Hyatt Place offers several options. Valet parking is available for $60 per night, which keeps your car in a covered garage. Self-parking is also available in an open-air lot.
We chose to park in the open air lot directly across the street from the hotel and were pleasantly surprised to pay only $30 for the nightโand they graciously extended that rate for two nights. While we didn’t need the seconds night, it was a relief not having to worry about exiting exactly 24 hours later before being charged again.

Exceptional Service When It Mattered Most
What stood out most, though, was the incredible staff. We ended up needing an early check-in after my daughter got sick, and I truly donโt know what we would have done if they hadnโt accommodated us. The front desk team was so kind and understanding, and we were beyond grateful to get settled into our room by 10:30 in the morning.
