I have a confession. I am not a Pinterest mom, but I really really wish I was. Running around to five different stores searching for random hard to find items leaves me frazzled and frustrated. In the end, it never comes out like I imagined. So when I heard about Crafty Holiday Helper, I was so excited that I wanted to shout it from the roof tops.

We love St. Patrick’s Day and all of the mischief that little leprechaun reeks upon our home. And in regards to how difficult this past year has been, I want to bring as much joy to my kiddos as I possibly can.
I couldn’t wait for them to go to bed the night before the big reveal. I had so much fun setting everything up. There was a gold banner that said Lucky and green shamrock balloons. A big rainbow decorated the table along with a table setting for four. I decorated the table with little pots of gold candy and green shamrock sunglasses.
I also purchased a sneaky leprechaun kit that came with a green dry erase marker and foot print stencils so I could make a trail of tiny footprints around the house or on the toilet.
There was also green glitter to sprinkle wherever he went. Green food coloring could be put in the toilet or used to make treats green. I covered their playroom with green streamers and used the dry erase marker to make funny faces on everyone’s framed pictures around the house.
The kids jumped out of bed in the morning and ran downstairs to see the trouble that the leprechaun caused during the night. They ran around screeching with delight with each time they found evidence of his presence.
There was a scavenger hunt that led the kids around the house to a rainbow lollipop prize. It was so much fun!
