We kept coming back to this restaurant because the kids loved it. Kids get model magic to play with and a giant cookie for dessert. It also seemed to have the shortest wait times. Their outdoor covered patios are dog friendly.
2. C-RAY LOBSTER
C-Ray Lobster is a family owned and operated lobster pound in Bar Harbor, Maine with outdoor seating. It is located just outside of the downtown area so parking is easy.
3. MERCHANT & FRYE
Merchant & Frye serves up a seasonally inspired menu, handcrafted cocktails and an inspired Maine beer list in a newly renovated, open-concept kitchen.
4. THE CHART ROOM
Waterfront Restaurant serving lunch and dinner daily with a great children’s menu. They have a long dock to sit out on and enjoy the view. The kids loved collecting rocks on the beach while we waited for our food.

Inspired dining foodies will appreciate in a lovely courtyard setting. I was nervous about my picky eaters, but they do have a children’s menu upon request.
6. THIRSTY WHALE TAVERN
Eat hearty and enjoy a charming pub atmosphere. They are known for their lobster rolls, famous fish sandwiches, chowders, seafood, burgers and more.
