If you’re planning a stay at Baha Mar in the Bahamas, one of the first things you’ll want to figure out is where to eat. The good news? Whether you’re staying at the Grand Hyatt, Rosewood, or SLS, you have access to all of the restaurants across the entire resort. The even better news? There are over 40 incredible options to choose from.
After eating our way through the property, here’s my guide to the Best restaurants at Baha Mar for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and even a nightcap.
Tip: Make dinner reservations as far in advance as possible — especially during peak travel seasons. Breakfast does not require reservations. Also, check your bill carefully to see if gratuity has already been included. And families, take note: kids under 5 eat free!
The Best Restaurants at Baha Mar for Breakfast:
Vacation mornings at Baha Mar just hit differently. Whether you want toes-in-the-sand vibes or a charming café setting, these were our favorites.
1. Tingum on the Sand (Rosewood)
Cuisine: Casual beachfront breakfast & lunch
Vibe: Barefoot luxury, toes in the sand
I could honestly sit at Tingum on the Sand all day long. Feet in the sand, kids playing on the beach, ocean breeze drifting through — pure heaven. It has that effortless Rosewood polish but still feels completely relaxed. If you want a true Bahamas morning with no shoes required, this is it.
2. The Breakfast Café (Rosewood)
Cuisine: Elevated breakfast classics
Vibe: Quiet, garden-like escape
The Rosewood’s Breakfast Café feels tucked away and peaceful. I loved sipping coffee under those beautiful trees — it’s shady, calm, and a lovely way to ease into the day before the resort buzz kicks in.
3. Café Madeleine (Grand Hyatt)
Cuisine: French café fare
Vibe: Charming Parisian-style café
Café Madeleine is your go-to for pastries, bagels, and excellent coffee. You can sit and enjoy the atmosphere or grab something to take back to the room. Just know this: the later you go, the longer the line. It’s popular for a reason.
And yes — there are also two Starbucks locations on property, but expect long lines. (We tried mobile ordering… it never worked for us.)

The Best Restaurants at Baha Mar for Lunch:
When everyone is hungry from pool time and beach adventures, these spots delivered every time.
4. 25°North (Rosewood)
Cuisine: Southern California coastal cuisine
Vibe: Beachfront, breezy, elevated but relaxed
Located beachfront within the Baha Bay Beach Club at the SLS, 25° North is the only restaurant in Nassau focused on fresh, seasonal Southern California coastal cuisine. The menu is driven by local and sustainable ingredients, with an emphasis on seasonality and the bright, clean flavors you’d expect from the California coast. This is the spot to go when you want something lighter and fresh. We loved sitting outside with those ocean views.
5. Costa (Rosewood)
Cuisine: Coastal Mexican
Vibe: Relaxed island feel
Costa at the Rosewood overlooks a series of beautiful koi ponds that run through the property. Ask to sit outside and request fish food for the kids — they’ll love feeding the fish swimming below while you enjoy fresh tacos, ceviche, and margaritas.

The Best Restaurants at Baha Mar for Dinner:
These are my top picks for the best restaurants at Baha Mar when the sun goes down.
6. Marcus Chop House (Grand Hyatt)
Cuisine: Steakhouse
Vibe: Sophisticated, beachy
For a classic steakhouse experience with island flair, Marcus Chop House is a solid choice. Expect high-quality cuts of meat, seafood, and an upscale atmosphere that still feels welcoming for families. This was the hardest reservation to get, our most expensive meal and worth every penny. Don’t miss Marcus’ Cornbread with Spiced rum butter.
7. Cleo (SLS)
Cuisine: Mediterranean
Vibe: Stylish, Upscale
Cleo brings bold Mediterranean flavors in a fun, vibrant setting. Think shareable plates, fresh ingredients, and a buzzy atmosphere. My husband and I still talk about the hummus. Unbelievable.
8. The Swimming Pig (SLS)
Cuisine: Modern Bahamian comfort food
Vibe: Casual, fun, great for families
This is a crowd-pleaser. The Swimming Pig offers burgers and beer in a relaxed environment. It’s easy, delicious, and perfect for nights when everyone just wants good food without too much fuss. It was one of our favorites.
9. Shuang Ba (Grand Hyatt)
Cuisine: Chinese
Vibe: Elegant and upscale
If you’re craving Asian cuisine, Shuang Ba is an excellent choice. The restaurant serves refined Chinese dishes in a more formal setting. It’s ideal for a date night or a special dinner. Note that there is no kid menu. We were not able to eat here during our visit, but have heard great things.

Dessert & Nightcaps
10. Sugar Factory (Grand Hyatt)
Cuisine: American classics & over-the-top desserts
Vibe: Loud, colorful, fun
Here’s my honest take: skip the food, don’t skip the shakes. The milkshakes are wildly over-the-top and absolutely worth it for the experience alone. Kids love it.
11. Skybar (SLS)
Vibe: Rooftop glam with ocean views
End your night at Skybar for a cocktail and incredible views. It’s stylish, breezy, and feels like the perfect adults-only exhale after a full day of sun and swimming.
